Sea pottery pendant with lovely picture of mother and child, with coral, pearls, little shells, glass and coconut shell beads

£38.00

Fully beaded handmade beachcombing necklace with macrame pendant made from a lovely piece of sea pottery. With fresh water pearls, coral, little shells, glass and coconut shell beads. Threaded onto strong cord with a sturdy lobster clasp.

This piece of sea pottery has a particularly lovely picture of a mother and child. It was very lightly worn when I found it on the beach and I did something I hadn’t done before, which was to round off the corners with a dremel as they were a bit pointy. I don’t usually mess with my finds, but I really wanted to turn this one into a pendant and it would have poked through the macrame if I had left it how it was.

Treasures from the sea! The beautiful piece of sea worn pottery is one and three eighths of an inch long. The short necklace is is seventeen inches long.

The sea pottery is a genuine beach combing find. Most of my pieces are found on the lovely Isle of Wight, but some also come from my yearly holiday in the Lake District.

This necklace is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures.
