Pirate glass necklace, old historic sea glass, with grey pearls and vintage glass beads FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE

£37.00

Fully beaded tribal style handmade necklace with pirate glass pendant. With genuine grey fresh water pearls, wood and vintage faceted glass beads. Threaded onto strong cord with a sturdy lobster clasp. This piece of pirate glass is a lovely greenish amber when you shine a bright light through it (is slightly more amber in real life than it looks in the pictures).

This short necklace is eighteen inches long and the piece of pirate glass is just over an inch long.

Pirate glass is sea glass which is many hundreds of years old and has slowly been worn into pleasingly smooth shapes by the sea. It appears black until you shine a bright light through it (the torch on a phone is best, as it is small and incredibly bright). It is hard to find as on the beach it looks like a pebble. It takes a while to learn to spot it, but once you get your eye in you can find two or three pieces in one trip, if you know the right spots to look! I collect my pirate glass along the south coast of the Isle of Wight. It is time consuming, but a real thrill every time I find a piece.

This necklace is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures. All items come with free shipping unless specifically stated otherwise and are usually shipped in one to three business days using Royal Mail.

Thank you for looking. Peace.
