Fully beaded handmade necklace with small, very well worn ‘mermaids nipple’ sea glass pendant strung with hundreds of tiny real fresh water pearls. Threaded onto strong cord with a sturdy lobster clasp. The glass is a lovely bright green when you shine a light through it (please see the second picture).
This short necklace is eighteen inches long and the piece of glass is three quarters of an inch long.
‘Mermaids nipple’ is a nickname given to a particular shape of sea glass which comes from the base of old Victorian bottles.
