Rare colour pirate glass necklace, old historic seaglass, with red pearls, black lava stone and coconut shell beads FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE

£35.00
sold out

Fully beaded handmade necklace with rare reddish amber colour pirate glass pendant. With red fresh water pearls, black lava stone and coconut shell beads. Threaded onto strong cord with a sturdy lobster clasp. This piece of pirate glass is reddish amber when you shine a bright light through it to see its secret colour.

This short necklace is just 18 inches long and the piece of pirate glass is just under three quarters of an inch long. Please see the second picture for the glass with a bright light shining through it.

Pirate glass is seaglass which is many hundreds of years old and has slowly been worn into pleasingly smooth shapes by the sea. It appears black until you shine a bright light through it (the torch on a phone is best, as it is small and incredibly bright). It is hard to find as on the beach it looks like a pebble. It takes a while to learn to spot it, but once you get your eye in you can find two or three pieces in one trip, if you know the right spots to look! I collect my pirate glass along the south coast of the Isle of Wight. It is time consuming, but a real thrill every time I find a piece.

This necklace is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures. All items come with free shipping unless specifically stated otherwise and are usually shipped in one to three business days using Royal Mail.

Thank you for looking. Peace.
