This is an ideal pair of couples or best friends necklaces. These two ammonite pendants are cut and polished halves of a single fossil ammonite, which naturally formed as hematite with small chambers of quartz. They are threaded onto adjustable length woven cotton cords with agate, wood and coconut shell beads. The ammonites are each a bit over an inch long and are firmly secured in a micro-macrame setting.
These are lovely detailed ammonites and the hematite is very shiny when it catches the light.
All the items in this shop are handmade by me with great love and great care in my little studio on the Isle of Wight (well, some of them are also made on the beach, or curled up on the couch at home), which is a beautiful little island off the south coast of England.
