Owyhee blue opal macrame crystal necklace, common opal

£28.00

Natural owyhee blue opal macrame crystal necklace. The stone is just over one and a half inches long and is tightly secured in a micro macrame setting. The pendant is threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with snowflake obsidian, wood and little coconut shell beads.

Owyhee opal is a form of common opal, which means it does not have the play of colour, or ‘fire’ of gemstone opal. I think it is a beautiful stone in its own right though, and the soft matte blue colour is gorgeous.

All the items in this shop are handmade by me with great love and great care, mostly in my little studio on the Isle of Wight (sometimes I sit and make them on the beach too), a beautiful little island off the south coast of England. This item is one of a kind and you will be sent the one in the picture.
