Amazing black glass button, probably a Victorian mourning button, tightly secured in a micro macrame setting. The pendant is threaded with garnet and black lava stone beads and a sturdy lobster clasp.
This short necklace is seventeen and a half inches long and the beads are 4-6mm. The button is a little under an inch long and is actually a very dark red if you shine a bright light through it.
All the items in this shop are handmade by me with great love and great care, mostly in my little studio on the Isle of Wight (sometimes I sit and make them on the beach too), a beautiful little island off the south coast of England.
