Stunning charoite macrame crystal pendant with mixed wood beads, rare stone FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE
Please note that this stone is a much more pinky purple in real life. It shows as more blue in photographs.
Charoite is a genuinly rare gemstone which can be found in just one rock formation in Siberia. It was apparently first discovered in the forties but wasn’t recognised until the seventies as many people thought it must be dyed, as the colour and fibrous shine are so unusual. It is believed that the name comes from the Russian word ‘chary’ meaning magic, or charm. This piece of charoite is just under one and a half inches long and is a good example of the stone. It is a lovely lilac purple which is unfortunatly showing more blue in the photographs. The macrame pendant is threaded onto an adjustable woven cotton cord with mixed wood and small coconut shell beads.
All the items in this shop are handmade by me with great love and great care in my little studio on the Isle of Wight (well, sometimes I sit and make them on the beach too), a beautiful little island off the south coast of England. This item is one of a kind and you will be sent the one in the current pictures.
All items have free shipping unless specifically stated otherwise. Items usually ship in three business days using Royal mail.
Thank you for looking. Peace.
