This stone is REALLY hard to photograph! The stones coloured ‘flash’ is visible from certain angles, and not from others, so it is quite difficult to capture with the camera. This piece is a rare colour, as they are more commonly blue/green/gold. Sometimes the flash looks more orange, sometimes more purple, depending on the light.
Large labradorite gemstone macrame crystal pendant handmade by me and threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with amethyst, ebony wood and coconut shell beads. The piece of natural labradorite has good ‘flash’ and is just under an inch three quarters long. It is secured in a tight micro macrame setting knotted to my own design.
Every stone I work with is carefully selected by me. I do not purchase them in bulk, as I prefer to choose individual stones. I select for colour, pattern and beauty, so specimins are not always flawless, but are always wonderful.
