Dendritic opal macrame crystal necklace with amazing branching patterns inside the stone. This crystal is also known as merlinite. The natural stone is one and a bit inches long and is tightly secured in a micro macrame setting. The pendant is threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with jade, wood and coconut shell beads.
This is one of my favourite stones, the patterns inside it are absolutely amazing. Dendritic opal is a form of common opal, which means it does not have the play of colour, or ‘fire’ of gemstone opal.
All the items in this shop are handmade by me with great love and great care, mostly in my little studio on the Isle of Wight (sometimes I sit and make them on the beach too), a beautiful little island off the south coast of England. This item is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures.
