Handmade micro macrame earrings made from natural charoite gemstone. The pieces of charoite are each around three quarters of an inch long and the ear wires are silver plated.
These earrings are very light, just a few grams each.
Charoite is a genuinely rare gemstone, as it occurs in just one rock formation in Siberia. It is a striking purple stone, which always photographs looking more blue than it is. These pieces are a strong, pinky purple. Charoite has an unusual silky, fibrous shine, very unique.
I don’t make earrings that often as they are very fiddly and difficult!
