This small abalone pendant is suitable for a man or a woman. It is handmade by me by tightly securing a mother of pearl, abalone shell (also known as paua shell) cabachon in a micro macrame setting. The piece of shell is three quarters of an inch long and the pendant is threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with green jade, ebony wood and small metal beads.
This is a lovely tribal, surfer or boho style necklace. The colours in the shell are wonderful, and entirely natural.
